Great Britain, Italy, and Switzerland topped the podium as the Youth Series switched from Boulder to Lead
After four Boulder and one Speed competitions, the World Climbing Europe Youth Series moved to its first Lead event of the season in Dornbirn, Austria, where 232 climbers from 25 nations competed across two age categories: under 17 and under 19.
SWITZERLAND TAKES DOUBLE GOLD
Switzerland claimed both U17 gold medals, with Amélie Kägi dominating the women’s event on her Lead debut, while Yanik Chassain secured victory in the men’s one.
Great Britain and Italy shared the two U19 titles: British climber Isabella Rinaldi claimed gold and her first Youth Series medal since 2024, while Italy’s Andrea Ludovico Chelleris picked up where he left off after ending his 2025 campaign with gold in Tournefeuille, France.
