Climbers Against Cancer

World Climbing has partnered with Climbers Against Cancer (CAC) for more than a decade, supporting the Climbing community’s commitment to making a positive impact beyond sport.

Founded in 2012, Climbers Against Cancer is an international charity that raises funds and awareness to support cancer research and, more recently, organisations that assist people living with and beyond cancer. The partnership between World Climbing and CAC began in 2013 – with the first donation made at an IFSC World Cup in Briançon, France – and was formalised in 2014.

Through fundraising initiatives at events, athlete involvement, and community-led activities, CAC has raised and donated significant funds to research and support projects across multiple continents.

The long-standing collaboration reflects World Climbing’s belief in the power of sport to bring people together around meaningful causes, using the global reach of Climbing to raise awareness, encourage dialogue, and contribute to the fight against cancer.
