TV Rights policy for non-rights holders

World Climbing is the owner of all broadcasting rights at all World Climbing Events. As owner of all the footage streamed or broadcasted during World Climbing events, World Climbing is willing to give accredited Non-Rights Holders (TV and Online) a clear policy regarding World Climbing event filming.

News Access

World Climbing distributes to non-rights holders a news edit at the end of Finals.
Technical costs are foreseen. Please contact Iris Sport Media (filippo.guidolin@irissport.media) for booking.

This material is usually uploaded within two (2) hours after the end of the event and can be used for free up to two (2) days after the end of the competition. Past that deadline, the use of this footage will be subject to a "highlights licence fee".

Any specific request related to local athletes, whether it is for news or other contents, and not already included in World Climbing standard news edits, will be negotiated in advance with World Climbing.

General Policy

Filming of the climbing/competition is NOT permitted without prior agreement with World Climbing.

Violations

Violations of this policy may result in the withdrawal of media accreditations and restricted access to World Climbing events or World Climbing media materials.
If content is uploaded online without World Climbing’s permission, World Climbing will claim for removal and/or monetisation of the content.

Further Stipulations

At any time, the World Climbing team may issue additional requirements at the event. Questions regarding this policy should be discussed with World Climbing before the events.
