The World Climbing Series Santiago 2026 has been officially launched with a gathering of the main players involved in the event coming together to mark the occasion
Taking place on 4 March, dignitaries and climbers united to share messages and support in anticipation of the first World Climbing Series event to take place in Chile, and only the second ever in South America.
The event opened with a video message from World Climbing President Marco Scolaris, and was attended by the Minister of Sport, the Director of the National Sports Institute, the President of the Chilean Olympic Committee, the Director of the Olympic Planning Commission, members of the national climbing teams, presidents of National Sports Federations, and members of the national climbing community.
The World Climbing Series Santiago 2026 will feature the Lead and Speed disciplines and take place on 23-25 October.
