KILTER BECOMES OFFICIAL TRAINING BOARD PARTNER OF WORLD CLIMBING

The three-year agreement will elevate athlete preparation by introducing Kilter Board systems at selected elite events.

World Climbing is proud to announce a new global partnership with US-based company Kilter, which will serve as the Federation’s Official Training Board Partner.

Under a three-year agreement running through the end of the 2028 season, the collaboration centres on the Kilter Board: a world-class light-up, interactive, and adjustable climbing system that blends performance training with an engaged global community.

As the Official Training Board Partner, Kilter will provide a dedicated training board in isolation zones at selected World Climbing events, while also sharing insights on the system’s performance and relevance for elite sport. World Climbing and Kilter will work closely with athletes and stakeholders to gather feedback on Kilter Board use in high-performance training and assess its potential application within elite competition settings.

This partnership further deepens Kilter’s long-standing presence in top-level Climbing. Kilter holds have been featured for more than seven years across international competitions and are part of the sport equipment catalogue used in Climbing’s first two Olympic appearances.

World Climbing President Marco Scolaris said: “Most of us have climbed on Kilter walls, we are truly pleased to welcome them as the Official Training Board Partner. This innovative collaboration offers athletes at our world-class competitions the benefit of training on Kilter walls in the warm-up zone and, in the future, also the insights gained from its use.”
