The World Climbing Europe Youth Championship in Zakopane, Poland, brought together 130 young athletes from 14 countries across Europe to compete in the Speed discipline in three age categories: under 17, under 19, and under 21.

Adverse weather conditions forced the competition to be stopped before the medal rounds could be completed. Most categories had reached the quarter-final stage, while the under 21 women’s final standings were determined based on qualification results alone.

MEDAL TABLE

Germany finished first in the medal table as the only team to secure more than one gold medal, ending the event with two golds, one silver, and one bronze. Italy followed with one gold, two silvers, and two bronzes, giving them the highest overall medal count of the competition. In total, eight nations reached the medal table.

The next European youth events on the calendar are the Youth Series competition in Dornbirn, Austria, on 4 and 5 July, and the Championship in Barcelona, Spain, from 17 to 19 July.
