THE PROCESS
Fans hoping to purchase tickets for LA28 must register at tickets.la28.org before the March 18 deadline in order to be entered into the draw for the first ticket sales phase.
Once entered, fans will be randomly selected for the opportunity to participate in the first drop of Olympic tickets. That window is set for 9–19 April 2026.
Individuals will receive notice of their selection via email between 31 March and 7 April. The email will include further details, including their designated time slot.
Selection does not immediately guarantee tickets; instead, the time slot is the given window for a fan to access the ticketing platform and purchase available sessions.
During a ticketing window, fans can purchase up to 12 tickets across Olympic competitions and ceremonies. Fans will also be able to purchase an additional 12 tickets for football group-stage and quarter-final matches above and beyond the 12-ticket allotment.
Fans who do not use all 12 of their ticket allotment in Drop 1 will be eligible for later round sales up to the maximum limit.
